The University of San Carlos (USC) Alpha Chapter once again joining the Gawad Kalinga Program (ATO ni BAI! Bayanihan) last August 31, 2008 in Barangay Budlaan, Talamban Cebu City. This Gawadnihan Project is voluntarily joined by the new Alumni brod lumacang, brod cuyos and brod manosour with the undergrads brod belarmino, brod macabeo, brod tugal, brod luzares and brod escoreal and also brod Raul Aguilar alumnus from South Western University (SWU) Delta Chapter.

In this event we create friendship among other organizations specially to the youth organization the youth for christ, the GK volunteers and the IFSC.

Alpha Tau Omega Philippines Beta Chapter joins Kapamilya 20 years nata! activity presented by MOR (My only Radio) and the Municipality of Liloan. A mangrove planting activity held at Brgy. Sulima, Cotcot, Liloan Cebu last July 26, 2008. Beta chapter Univeristy of San Jose-Recoletos joins private sector to render service to the community. The DOTA for-a-cause tournament is a great success and this is for the benefit of CHILDEN'S JOY FOUNDATION, INC. a Non-Government institution dedicated to feed, to clothe, and to send to school 3 Million less fortunate children in the Philippines.
